This portal supports practical AI workshops for civil society teams, journalists, human rights defenders, researchers, legal practitioners, communicators, and operations staff in Iraq and the wider region. It was prepared for POINT Conference Iraq 7 and remains available after the event.

Evidence and limits

The project included a needs assessment with 14 civil society organisations. That small group helped identify workshop needs. It is not a representative survey of all organisations in Iraq or the region, so this portal does not present its percentages as general facts.

Product facts can change by plan, country, account, and date. Tool pages identify their sources and review date. A status of “untested” means the site does not have adequate evidence for a score in that language or context. It does not mean the tool failed or passed.

Arabic and Kurdish content may be machine-assisted until a native speaker reviews it. Each page shows its translation status. Recheck high-stakes legal, safety, privacy, licensing, access, and pricing claims at the linked primary source before acting.
