What it can access
Uses an Airtable personal access token you create and scope yourself to specific bases; Airtable's own hosted MCP endpoint handles the connection.
Security note
Published by Airtable under an MIT licence, from Airtable's own GitHub organisation. Scope the access token to only the bases Claude actually needs, especially if any base holds beneficiary or donor personal data.
Before you start
You need an Airtable account with at least one base, and a Claude.ai account. No terminal or download is needed.
How to install
- In Airtable, go to airtable.com/create/tokens and click Create new token.
- Give the token access to only the specific base or bases you want Claude to use, not your whole workspace.
- Copy the token Airtable gives you.
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste in Airtable’s connection address and the token when asked, and click Connect.
How to remove it
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, find Airtable, and click Remove.
- In Airtable, go back to airtable.com/create/tokens and delete the token. That stops it working everywhere, not just in Claude.
