What may go into it: Only after identifying details are removed

Remove names, contact details, exact addresses and anything else that identifies a person before you paste. If the job cannot be done once those are gone, use a controlled route instead.

Fill in the blanks

Type into each box. The prompt on this page fills itself in as you type, and the highlighted parts show where your words land. Nothing you type here leaves your phone or computer until you copy the prompt or open a tool with it.

The prompt

Answer in [ANSWER LANGUAGE], even if the material below is in another language.

Below is a call for proposals, and then five facts about my organisation. Answer only from the call.

Rules:
1. For every answer, quote the clause you used and give its section number.
2. If the call does not answer something, write "the call does not say". Never fill a gap with what is usual.
3. If a clause turns on where we work or what we work on, do not guess. List it as a question for us to answer offline.
4. Do not encourage or discourage me. Report what the document requires.
5. Keep every date and figure exactly as the call writes it, including mixed digits: ١٢٣ alongside 123.

Give me, in this order:
A. Are we eligible: yes, no, or unclear, with the clause quoted for each requirement we meet or fail.
B. Every deadline, with date, time and time zone as written, then a checklist of the required documents and annexes, one line each.
C. Grounds for disqualification, and the budget rules that would change how we plan: co-financing, ineligible costs, ceilings, reporting.
D. The questions we should send the donor, because the call does not answer them.

The call:
[PASTE THE CALL]

My organisation, five facts and nothing more:
Country of registration: [COUNTRY]
Legal form: [LEGAL FORM AS IT IS WRITTEN ON OUR REGISTRATION]
Years active: [UNDER 3 / 3 TO 10 / OVER 10]
Last annual budget: [PICK ONE BAND, NOT THE FIGURE: UNDER 50,000 / 50,000 TO 250,000 / OVER 250,000, AND THE CURRENCY]
External audit available: [YES OR NO]

Opens a new chat in that tool with this prompt already typed in. Fill in every box first, and read the line at the top about what may go into it.

20 minutes · Gives you a checklist · Works on a phone · How much to paste at once: Paste one call at a time, around 20 pages at most on a free plan, and if the answer stops mid sentence or never reaches section D it was cut off, so send what is left in a smaller piece.

Read the answer against the checks below before you use it in anything that leaves your organisation.

What to fill in

  • [ANSWER LANGUAGE]: replace with Arabic, Kurdish Sorani or English, whichever the answer has to be read in.
  • [PASTE THE CALL], including the annexes list and any guidance document.
  • The five facts. Country and legal form as written on the registration, the other three as a band or a yes or no.
  • Nothing about where we work, what we work on, or any person. If a clause turns on that, it comes back in section D.

Before you trust the answer

  1. Verify every deadline in section B against the donor page yourself. This is the one error that cannot be repaired later.
  2. Anything marked "the call does not say" is a question for the donor, not a decision for you.
  3. Compare each quoted clause in section A with the call itself. If a quote is not in the document word for word, discard the answer.

When it goes wrong

It will attach a real-looking section number to an eligibility rule the call never states.
