Monitoring news and social media at scale

Watch out for this

A monitoring list is itself sensitive material. The accounts you follow, the phrases you search for and the names in your spreadsheet describe your investigation, and pasting them into a free AI service moves that description onto someone else’s servers. Describe the pattern instead, and keep the list of people in a file you control.
