Find the clause that answers your question
Returns the clause quoted with its number, one line of plain reading, and anything elsewhere in the document that changes it, or says plainly that the document does not answer the question.
What may go into it: Only after identifying details are removed
The prompt
Answer in [ANSWER LANGUAGE], even if the material below is in another language. You have one question and one long document. Find the clause that answers it. Rules: 1. Use only the document below. Never answer from general knowledge about how such documents usually read. 2. Quote, never paraphrase. Copy the clause word for word, with its number or heading as printed, including mixed digits: ١٢٣ alongside 123. 3. If the document does not answer the question, write "The document does not answer this" and then give the nearest related clause, quoted. 4. Search the whole document for anything that changes the answer: a definition, an exception, an annex, a later clause that overrides an earlier one. 5. Mark anything you are unsure about with [CHECK] and say why in one line. Give me, in this order: A. The clause that answers my question, quoted in full, with its number. B. What it means in practice, in one plain sentence. C. Anything elsewhere in the document that limits it, extends it or contradicts it, each quoted with its number. D. Every [CHECK] you marked, one line each. My question: [WRITE YOUR QUESTION IN ONE SENTENCE] Document: [PASTE THE DOCUMENT]

10 minutes · Gives you short sections · Works on a phone · How much to paste at once: Paste one chapter or about ten pages at a time and ask your question again on each part. If the answer stops mid sentence, or never mentions the last heading you pasted, it was cut off.
Read the answer against the checks below before you use it in anything that leaves your organisation.
What to fill in
- [ANSWER LANGUAGE]. Name the language you want the answer in, for example Arabic, Kurdish or English.
- [WRITE YOUR QUESTION IN ONE SENTENCE]. One question only. Two questions in one slot give you one blurred answer.
- [PASTE THE DOCUMENT]. Remove names and identifying details first unless the document is already public.
- Leave [CHECK] as it is. It is the marker the tool must use, not a slot you fill in.
Before you trust the answer
- Find the quoted clause in your own copy of the document before you rely on it. If the number does not match, discard the whole answer.
- Read section C before you act. A clause that reads clearly on its own is often limited by an exception somewhere else.
- If the answer never says "The document does not answer this", check that it really found a clause and did not build one from general knowledge.
When it goes wrong
It will hand you a confident clause number that does not exist in your document, with wording that reads like a real clause.
